great access to parks and cultural attractions for city walks
I had a lovely time exploring almost 2 km away at Whitworth Art Gallery and enjoyed the peaceful nature at Birchfields Park, which is less than a 10-minute stroll away. the comfortable bed and quaint period architecture made my stay feel cozy and homey despite the room being a bit smaller than expected.

The bed was comfy but noisy, and the shower had excellent water pressure. the overall condition of the place was appalling. one room was filthy, and another was occupied upon arrival, forcing us to leave at night in search of safer accommodation. management was unhelpful when issues were brought up, displaying a lack of concern ' comfort.

We spent one night in a Deluxe Double Room, and I loved the cozy vibe of the place. The garden area was a great spot to unwind, complete with comfy seating and lovely flowers. The only downside was some noise from the restaurant below, but it didn’t ruin our experience at all! 😊

The reception staff were very helpful when it came to room changes, ensuring we were comfortable. The location was convenient for public transport into the city center, making our trip enjoyable. the first room assigned was not in satisfactory condition, leading to some discomfort. cleanliness could have been improved, and noise from other guests was troubling.

Good stay for a quick trip
Stayed for 3 nights in a small double room. The place was nice and clean. The service was really welcoming, especially the lady at the front desk. I didn’t hang around the hotel much, just slept there. The breakfast options were decent, nothing fancy tho. Would've liked more space in the room.

Staying here for a quick weekend getaway was a pleasant experience. The room was spacious and had a charming rustic vibe, which made it feel cozy. Plus, the location was fantastic, making it easy to explore nearby attractions like parks and galleries. The only downside was a dripping toilet that kept us up a bit, but the charm of the place outweighed that issue.
